i’m taking a break from my mindless self indulgence into asking you to vote for my friend’s dog which deserves a new start in life here : Vote for Chasis because the dog has been previously abused and still bears shit loads of scars.

yes i know i could’ve choesen any other dogs which needed more help and a better life but i am one person and i can only start little things before moving on to bigger things and i’m starting with my school mate’s dog first.

ah, my sibling often tells me this never-ending phrase when something doesn’t meet her approval. she says it like a kiwi. then today(or rather yday) i saw chuuchuu’s msn name and was like, yeah, i guess that’s what i’ve been feeling of late – NOT IMPRESSED.

i’d like to address the fisher paykel pronunciation. apparently it’s like the highest search hit for my “blog”(weblog) which i should rename as “rlog” (ranting log)

you can say it as “pay-kel” or “pai-kel” and i also don’t care. it’s their family surname and i think they ought to call it whatever they want. when i wrote this post, i had a stupid argument with my boss because he corrected me in front of everyone that was in the shop and i told him what i really though – “that i didn’t care and you can call them whatever you want because it’s likes “potaytoes” – “potarrrtoes” and “tomaytoesss”-”tomarrrtoes” for all i bloody care” he obviously was not impressed. but look, i studied english. you studied ENGRISH. i have the manners not to tell you your english is wrong in front of a crowd but having said that after countless times of being told off for stupid petty little things in front of a crowd, i’d say my confidence level is at a new boost – i think i will feel rage but it will all be contained until he triggers my angers – ie. call me to do him a favour then bashes me morally….awesome la…

MORAL: TRY NOT TO WORK FOR AZN BOSS WHO CLAIMS THEY’RE KIWI BUT STILL GOT AZN ACCENT. they’re a fraud. or mostly just my boss.

i don’t even care if anyone i know read this anymore because i can’t write cryptic messages on my facebook. it’s MY BLOG and I CAN BASH ANYONE I LIKE so as long as i don’t go and outright say their name and where they live or release any thing that could be detrimental to their privacy but if you got eyes, sit at the place work once a week. sit in front of the counter and you can hear all the verbal abuse we all put up with. sit at the bar and you can see all sorts of emotional turmoil. but you know, he is god because it is his shop. step outside that property and boy you’d be reduce to nothing but waste.or at least watch him strip away our dignity.

i’m not impressed with these kind of ppl anymore and i am really sad i have to tolerate them or rather maybe you guys should pity them to tolerate someone like me.

it’s true ok, if you don’t like something, voice it. if you keep quiet then complaint later, they will get angry and tell you that you had your chance.
well i tried to be nice but in the end i got burned and now worst, the reality is my loved ones are getting burned.

so
i decided to leave…for good.

anyway i’ve included white man’s guide to yum char (part 1) because i think ppl shouldn’t just order fried rice and sweet sour pork and fried wontons and all that jazz when they go eat yum char..it really is a waste and a terrible experience…

yum char time!! btw i’m not proclaiming to write a douglas adam’s hitchhiker’s guide thingy but i’m just saying, all the times i went to yum char it’s always like this : caucasians not feeling adventurous about not knowing what they’re gonna eat at yum char/dim sum and keep doing the whole fried rice and wontons and spring rolls…what a waste….just order whatever it is i wrote here..it’s edible…if i eat it, i think you guys would too because it’s all meat with perhaps a bit moar fat but you learn not to be picky after many yum char session…. : )

this is Radish cake! it is really nice and moist. i love this. everytime i yum char, i need to eat this..if u see a purple square version of this, that’s the Taro cake. it is super awesome..the yellow and black ones u see are sweet – if not mistaken it’s black sesame flavour and…i forgot the other one but they’re dessert…

polo(custard) and taro buns….these are awesome and a must when they come out…btw it’s a sweet bun.

these are chives and mince pork and prawn dumplings..they might also have peanuts..or some of them have just plain prawns… i forgot what you called them..soz i also failure…haven’t been to yum char last month but…anything wrapped like this is EDIBLE with nothing weird..just try it cos it’s bloody awesome…

basic differences of coffee

while i’m no connoisseur in the coffee arts
i’d like to address a few things that the lays probably don’t get it or just misinformed by misinformed staff in the industry.

1)a flat white is not the same as a latte (foam ratio for starters and then milk quantity – well it depends lo cos you have more milk and less froth in the flat white and a bit more froth and less watery milk….but it should always be a smooth texture…and not overwhelming crap of foams)

2)a vienna, for you dumb fuck asians out there who think it’s cool and all that jazz, it is espresso with whipped cream. you can have it long or short (with or without water) but the thing is, the coffee would be too damn strong for you…it is cool if you know how to appreciate coffee but if you gonna taste it and then get all pissed we didn’t serve you some caramel dolce vienna shit, i’m going to point out that we ain’t no fucking starbucks.

and don’t argue with us when we tell you it isn’t the same cos we aint’ some fuckers who don’t know what we are talking about. i’m no longer an enthusiast because of all the intensity involved in actually become a skilled barista along with knowing your beans like you know the threads to your clothes, each line by line.

however, no matter what grudges i have for my azn boss, i respect my trade. i give it that, i respect my barista profession and i acknowledge i have a long long more way to go. i just wished i have a better master.

maybe it’s time to hit to the states or italy…but states first..
