it’s the last day of 2007 and i don’t know what to write..the year has been very significant and i am grateful to have made it through.

thanks for bringing me back to reality.

my other half is travelling in the south island on camping trip..hehehe the big outward bound…so funny the way he describes his adventures looking for signal just to call or txt back : D

hehehe i am so happy even tho my eyes are at it’s limit of being swollen…i don’t like sleeping alone in a big big house..not being able to talk to him once a day but i will try to stop crying like a little kiddie…

also, i am scared when the birds chirp at weird hours or sometimes all day outside our window and when the lights suddenly turn on in the christmas trees and most of all, every time i hear the little footsteps on the roof, i get freaked out… -_-”

and also those random silent sounds…caused by wind…

haih..i am such a scaredy cat..faster come home T_T”

OK THIS ONE DESERVES TO BE A PIN UP!!!

why pork tastes so good.

1) they just makan all day…they won’t stop unless you don’t plan on feeding them, right?

2) pigs eat all kinds of waste…like organic waste and sometimes they eat paper..i don’t even know why but i read it on the animal farm somewhere if not mistaken but the point is, THEY EAT EVERYTHING THAT THEY CAN POSSIBLY SWALLOW

3) now the metaphor for this would be, the pig is akin to a food processor…cos like a mash of herbs – if you get the right herbs, it will all blend together and create a very exotic aroma – depending on how daring one is
ie. candleknuts and lemon grass and some lime leaves and dried chilli will get you something between msian styled chilli taste or a bit of thai – depending on how and what you wanna cook. correct?

so. if pigs are akin to the food processor – whatever you feed them gets absorbed lor hor into their skin? XDDDDDDD
and this just hit me – for all the msians out there – it’s th same reason why mamak side food stalls and hawkerfood stalls taste so good – cos by the longkang and all the trash smell goes in..

having said that, from today onwards i shall not eat anymore pork because of this disgusting theory that i came to realise because of chynwey…kanasai..

today at work, it was a disaster. i am suffering from food poisoning [moral of the story- dun put cut red chilli together with surimi crabsticks and feed me cos i will have stomach rumble and voila - CANNOT SLEEP AND VOMITTING...ugh] then i dragged myself off to work after i’ve drugged myself to survived the day…then realised

CRAP it’s home time!!! and i missed the bus so i had to wait and walk home and on the way buy home groceries and cook cos i have guest coming over to dinner out east….[god only know whys ppl would come to visit but i am happy : D ]

annoyance!

i broke something that is…really expensive to replace….first of all, the sentimental values that it bears….

like omgwtfbbq..it was really a weird day yday…[hence the rather emoed post with several references to hell and me and chynwey] and well… it was just weird

i broke a tamp..first – it ain’t the normal metal one. second, it’s somebody’s graduation tamp that it just so happen YOURS TRULY had buttered finger and being the last person to use it and DROP IT, ya..it broke…none of the metal part broke but the handle…just…broke…

been browsing through the website to replace it and it cost a lot -___-” i’m really depressed [not because of the price] but because, i NEVER THOUGHT THESE THINGS WERE SO EXPENSIVE!!! cos..i only dented the $200 one…lol..it came with a very dirty look and a long ass bloody lecture…and then onto the refinements of the special wood tamper’s handle and the uber expensive stainless steal etc…

aside from that, when i went into work today, i got flowers XDDDD
but it’s from an old man ><” but its the biggest pot of flowers i’ve ever received XDDDD
and it’s only on my 3rd day on the job *muahahaha*

omgomgomgomg…TIRAMISU IS SOOO EASYYYYYYYY TO MAKEEE [but so shit to assemble...esp if u got this OCD prob cos you know...it mixes...-__-]

haahahaha cooked 1/2 of dinner. entree and dessert : D

no oven so had to do it improvisation…even gordon ramsey would be proud of me [not really...he would've prob told me to go borrow the neighbour's oven...] but that isnt’ the point.

the point is

i didn’t have to make dinner cos i too excited i didnt’ sleep last nite and today hehehehe B took pity on me hahahah and told me he would buy some stuff and we eat home salad [his parents] and entree [my japanese baked musselsss FTW really la..looks really shit but taste really good despite at a major advantage...] and TIRAMISU DESSERT [too bad for chocolate cookie based tiramisu cheesecake : D ]

but hehehehe i’m so proud cos once again,
i did everything without measuring and it turns out right : D

[actually to be honest, i never measure anything..as long as i make more than less then it's ok edi...]
